Big Bushy Brows ❤️

To my fellow 90s pencil thin arch advocates, you are likely reluctant to acknowledge that thanks to many celebrities, Bushy Brows are Back…and with a vengeance I might add.

For those low maintenance babes with a tweezer aversion…this probably sounds like heaven…unless you aren’t naturally blessed with perfectly shaped, lusciously full brows that is.

So what are your options? Well, you could try your luck every morning with various eyebrow pencil techniques, that may or may not need to be reapplied throughout the day depending on your activity, or you could opt for a semi-permanent option known as microblading.

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that places special pigments under the top layer of your skin.

Somewhat like a tattoo, but not as deep, the eyebrow artist will use a pen-like tool with multiple micro-needles so tiny that they can realistically mimic brow hairs to create ultra thin strokes.

Sounds fabulous right? Yes. I agree. However, there are somethings you should know. Although the artist will likely use some sort of topical numbing cream to desensitize the area, it is still pretty painful. (Although totally worth it).

Your initial appointment will be about an hour and a half (or so) and about 30 mins will be somewhat uncomfortable. (Ahem) Like I said…totally worth it.

The next day my brows were super dark…and I’m not gonna lie…I panicked a little…but they faded pretty fast. PHEW. Next comes the lizard like scales 🤣🤣🤣 as my brows continued to heal and flake and about 7-10 days later we were back to normal.

My touch up appointment was scheduled 6 weeks later and I couldn’t wait…I wanted them…get this…DARKER! So we repeated the process and voila…I’m in love. ❤️
