Let’s Talk Screen Time and Designer Frames

As a Digital Marketing professional, I obviously spend a fair amount of my time working on my computer or smart phone.  So…when Apple released the new Screen Time App with iOS12 in December, I became acutely aware of just how much time I am spending online.

For those of you unaware, the Screen Time App provides detailed reporting of your online usage along with the ability to set limits on such, should you so desire.  By detailed, I mean right down into the nitty gritty of your online activity!

Now seeing how I have already summed the total of your average work week in my Screen Time usage, I started thinking about what effect this must have on my overall health and wellness.  The first of which being my eyes, which lead me to discover (through an online search of course), the world of blue light emissions.

Although I have worn glasses for the past several years, I only need them to see distance while driving at night and I actually can’t wear them when I work on the computer.  Yet after prolonged periods of time on the computer, I often notice that my eyes are irritated and I get a headache.

Digital protection lenses help reduce the harmful blue light emitted from digital devices, which can have a negative impact on the eyes.  So, even if you don’t wear prescription glasses or you wear contacts, you can still protect your eyes with a pair of these lenses. Just tell your optometrist that you are looking for blue light reflective lenses.

Here are my top pics for designer frames in 2019, and you better believe I want them all!

You can also visit Amazon.ca and order a pair online while you are deciding upon your fashion lenses and with Amazon Prime, they will be on your doorstep within 2 days!  😉

Creatively yours,
